Indachlor® receives its first deliveries

This Thursday, 19 November 2020, less than two years after the project started, Indachlor® received its first delivery. These first 20 tonnes of waste, out of a total storage capacity of 2,400 tonnes, mark the start of a new economic and ecological adventure in the port of Dunkirk, its employment base. To guarantee complete safety, the materials delivered on 19 November underwent checks and analyses by competent external laboratories, as well as in our own laboratories. Although these first residues were transported by lorry, others will soon follow, and they will arrive at the IndaChlor® site by rail. Next, the treatment phase can start for this waste, which would formerly have been lost and destined for destruction.

All of IndaChlor’s teams are delighted by this first concrete step towards the circular industry of the future.
